Marshall University Foundation Building

Architect: Sherman-Carter-Barnhart

Neighborgall was selected as Construction Manager to provide both preconstruction and construction phase services. During pre-construction, Neighborgall worked with the Owner and Architect to keep the design within budget without losing architectural integrity and functionality. The building is used for alumni as well as Marshall University functions and public events. It consists of office space, a call center, rooms for group meetings of varying sizes, board room, conference center and reception area featuring a 2 story rotunda. The reception and conference spaces are coordinated with adjacent outdoor areas to provide easy flow. These outdoor areas are provided with outdoor seating, trellises and other covered areas contributing to the overall desirability of the space. The structure is steel with brick and stone veneer; and has three floors totaling over 33,000 square feet.
