King’s Daughters Medical Center – Heart and Vascular Center

Neighborgall Construction provided general construction services for this competitive bid,   5 story, 198,000 SF addition to the hospital.  The project included 12 new heart cath labs, 173 patient rooms and 5 new elevators.  Also included in the project were extensive connecting bridges and tunnels to the main hospital.  The original project when bid was a 3-story structure capable of expanding to 10 stories.  Midway through, 2 stories were added to the project. Careful planning and coordination were required to complete and occupy the lower floors while the upper floors were still under construction.
